Corporate Intern Program Video

100 Acre Films recently completed a promotional spot to highlight one of our client’s internship program. As one of San Diego’s busiest video production companies, we get calls for videos like this all the time. They are always fun to work on.

This spot was shot over 6 days spread out over two months. One of the mandates from the client was that the video shoot be simple and nimble – we would be moving around a lot, and needed to be ready to grab shots when they happened. Camera operator David Hepburn, shooting with a Canon C100, did a fantastic job at finding those perfect moments to capture the experience of being an intern. Having to work often with just available light, he did an amazing job at always being able to get the shot.

Post production was done here at 100 Acre Films HQ, and editor Eric Addison worked from a script provided by the client. The initial cut clocked in around 5-6 minutes – much too long for what this needed to be. But after script revisions from the client, we were able to get the running time down to about 2 1/2 minutes. With so much good stuff, we could have easily made 4-5 short videos focused on many of the interns there.
