Find The Right Location

Location, location, location. We’ve all heard the old saying, and when planning out your video production, having a good location to film at is essential. Besides having the right “look”, there are many logistical things that need to be considered and factored into your decision process.

Corporate R & D Video Production

Awhile back, a client of ours hired us to create some short corporate videos highlighting technology they were working on. The videos were to be shown at an upcoming company event, but because of the nature of the content, they couldn’t be shown publicly. As we felt we did some pretty good work, creating some nice looking footage, graphics, and animations for them, it was disappointing we couldn’t share the work when we finished them. But as time has passed, and the tech is no longer a secret, we can now share the work.

Video Production “Extras” You Should Consider

When planning a video production day, there are the basics – camera, lighting, and audio. Beyond that, there are some “extras” that really add another layer of quality to any project. Back in part one of this series, we used the analogy of buying a car and mentioned the difference between buying just a base model versus buying one with some extras added in. For part three of our series, we’re going to cover some of those “extras” for your video project more in depth, and why/when you should really consider having them on set.

What to Expect on a Video Production Set

Those who’ve been on a video production set know it’s a fun and exciting experience. Those who haven’t, or those who don’t have much experience being on one, may find it a bit stressful or confusing if they don’t know what to expect or understand how things work. Hopefully after reading this, you will have gained a little more knowledge to help you on your next project, and ultimately make the day go much smoother.

What Does it Cost to Produce Your Video Project?

We get asked a lot of questions from our clients, even from our long-time ones, about various aspects of the production process.  With that in mind, we thought we’d take time this year to share some information and tips that should be useful to you in planning your video production projects. For this first installment, we’re going to dive into the often asked question ”What will it cost to produce my video?”

Video Production Around the Globe

Back before the world stopped in March 2020, we worked on a project for a client that was a bit unique. The shoot required us to have crews in three locations around the world.
