San Diego Rescue Mission Operation Hope Promo

100 ACRE FILMS is proud to once again be working with the San Diego Rescue Mission in helping them promote one of their programs. Mark Lagace and Dan Bitar called to see if we could create a short online video to promote their Operation: Hope for the Homeless program. They were looking for something along the same lines as the promo done for the Interfaith Vigil.

Mark and Dan did a great job at locating photos, and Dan also wrote the voice over. Once we had all the elements, 100 ACRE FILMS put all the pieces together into the final spot. Big special thanks goes out to Jim Staylor at Staylor-Made Communications for pitching in at the last minute and doing the voice over. Jim was getting ready for a shoot in South Korea, but still made the time to record the VO for us – thanks, Jim!

For you production people out there, we did all the editing in Premiere Pro CS5. The still photos where touched up in both Photoshop and Magic Bullet Looks, and the text animation was all done in After Effects. The music track was created using Smartsound’s Sonicfire Pro software.

We hope you enjoy the video, but even more, we hope that you give to the San Diego Rescue Mission. Visit their website at www.SDRescue.org.
